Salary                                     $12.00 - $17.00/Hour

 

Job Summary:

 Provide office support, answer inquiries, and provide information to the public, customers, visitors, and other interested parties. Perform clerical functions needed to process clients or patients. Duties may include scheduling, billing, and additional office duties.

 

Duties and Responsibilities


 .        Perform administrative support tasks, such as proofreading, transcribing handwritten information, or operating calculators or computers.

·         Data Entry using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

·      Compile, copy, and sort records of office activities.

·     Transmit information or documents using a computer, mail, or facsimile machine.

·         Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes and mail.

·         Operate telephone switchboard to answer, screen, determine nature and purpose of visit, and direct them to appropriate personnel.

·         Greet persons entering the establishment, and determine the nature and purpose of the visit.

·         Schedule appointments and maintain and update appointment calendars.

·         File and maintain records of daily activity.

·         Hear and resolve complaints from customers or the public.

·         Light cleaning

·         Performs other related duties as required.

·         Perform collections as needed.

·         Willing to work overtime as requested.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

·         Must be able to multitask, prioritize, and work on multiple tasks.

·         Must be dependable, and have great organizational skills.

·         Must be able to perform well in high-traffic environments.

·         Must have great listening skills.

·         Must be able to manage time.

·         Must be able to communicate effectively in writing.

·         Must have knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as Word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.

·         Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services

·         Skills to use a personal computer and various software packages.

·         Skills to type 50+ words per minute

·         Must obtain certification to perform urine specimen collections (within 3 weeks).

 Credentials and Experience 

·         Three years of experience in office work

·         Extensive knowledge of computer operation, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or related experience
